The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of characters who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in the powerful family could assist the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.

This results in them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of the traitor.
